The Campus Activities Team (CAT) is a premier student-run organization that serves as Daemen University's principal organization for students event planning and campus programming. The mission of CAT is to provide a diverse assortment of fun and safe events to entertain and engage students outside of the classroom. CAT's focus is on developing, planning, and facilitating quality events in collaboration with campus partners for the Daemen community. CAT activities are supported and funded by the students of Daemen University, and acts in response to the needs and interest of the student body with a primary goal of fostering campus community and unity. Cat affords opportunities for student growth by encouraging leaders to become members of team or volunteers for events on campus and within the community.

Being an Executive Member of CAT is a volunteer position, however members will be provided an annual honorarium:

In addition, executive board members receive CAT branded apparel to wear at events and conferences, professional development opportunities to grow and connect with other programming boards, and networking opportunities with fellow Daemen students and CAT Board Members.
Volunteers who help with CAT events will receive a Volunteer t-shirt and opportunities to attend events that CAT puts on for free.

Mission
The Student Alumni Ambassador organization is affiliated with the Institutional Advancement division. We assist with internal and external functions. At these events, we have the privilege of greeting and assisting our guests, who typically include members of the Rosary Hill/Daemen University/University Alumni Association, friends of the University, families, and current students. We participate in events such as the Distinguished Alumni Dinner, Easter Bunny Brunch, and various alumni related events.

We also help plan Founders Week festivities. Becoming a member of this unique organization will present many great opportunities to build relationships, network, and meet graduates and supporters of the University. Past opportunities included receptions with The Buried Life, Dave Coulier ("Uncle Joey" from the sitcom Full House), Michael Ian Black and Mo Rocca.

Joining this organization has greatly influenced our lives. Student Alumni Ambassadors has given us many opportunities to interact with graduates, notable figures and many of the original members of the college. SAA has truly opened many doors for us and is an experience that we would strongly recommend to all students.

As a member of SAA, you get the opportunity to grow your professional skill set to excel in school and later on in life through premier opportunities interacting with a variety of alumni and friends of Daemen. This close-knit organization was founded in 2002 as a way to bring more awareness and information about alumni relations. As a member you will receive SAA branded apparel to wear at events and conferences, get the opportunity to attend high level events such as Convocation, donor/trustee Gala and Distinguished Alumni Awards, and have a chance to be mentored by an alum in your field! This organization gives you the exposure to alumni work as a student! It is a wonderful way to grow both personally and professionally.
